FEATURED IN
Hair loss has probably been taking up more space in your life than you ever expected it would.
Not just in how you look, but in how often you catch yourself checking, adjusting, planning, or deciding how visible you want to be. It shows up before you leave the house, before photos, before social plans, and sometimes in the background of conversations you wish you could fully relax into.
Hair Loss Bonita is a support and resource hub for women navigating hair loss who want that mental space back. The work here focuses on reducing the constant self-monitoring and second-guessing that can creep into daily life, even when you are doing your best to handle things well.
Many women arrive here because they are capable and self-aware, but tired of managing this quietly on their own. They are not looking for dramatic change or big emotional breakthroughs. They want practical support that helps them move through everyday situations with more ease and less mental effort.
If you are unsure what kind of support you need, that makes sense.
Most women arrive here functioning well on the outside while quietly managing constant self-monitoring on the inside. You might look fine to other people and still feel mentally “on” all the time. You might tell yourself you should be able to handle this and also feel worn down by how much attention hair loss takes.
This space exists to help you understand what has been happening beneath the surface and to offer support that reduces the load rather than adding to it. There is no pressure to be ready, confident, or certain. You can explore at your own pace.
Does this feel familiar?
You notice how much planning happens around your hair now, even on ordinary days.
You hesitate before photos, mirrors, or video calls, not because you are vain, but because you are trying to manage how you are perceived.
You replay interactions afterward, wondering if anyone noticed, commented, or thought something you did not hear.
You have tried telling yourself to just accept it, push through it, or stop caring, and that only made you feel more alone when it did not work.
You wonder if support would actually help or if this is something you are supposed to deal with quietly on your own.
If any of this resonates, you are in the right place.
What this support actually helps with
Hair loss affects more than appearance. It changes how safe you feel being seen.
When something about your appearance feels unpredictable or exposed, the brain stays alert to protect you socially. That alertness can show up as constant checking, scanning, rehearsing, or bracing. Over time, that state becomes exhausting.
The goal of this work is not to force confidence or tell you to think differently overnight. The goal is to help your system stop working overtime so hair loss no longer organizes your attention, decisions, and daily experience.
When support is working, women often notice:
less mental checking without trying to stop it
conversations feeling easier to stay present in
decisions feeling lighter
more space for the parts of life that matter to them
Hair loss may still be part of life, but it stops taking up center stage.
Ways to get support
Female Hair Loss Support Session
60 minutes | Private | English / Español
This session is for women who want practical, grounded support around how hair loss is showing up in their life right now.
You do not need to come prepared or have the right words. Some women come with a specific situation. Others just know something feels heavy. We start where you are.
During the session, we focus on:
the situation or pattern taking up the most mental space
how your thoughts and body tend to respond in those moments
what would actually help you move through them with more ease
Together, we build a realistic plan you can use immediately. This is not about fixing you or pushing positivity. It is about reducing internal strain so daily life feels more manageable.
What women notice after working together
“Someone like me who is facing a cancer diagnosis, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of change my mental and physical state would be able to endure. YoMo helped me realize I could, and how and what I could do. She educated me on the how and the inner love I was forgetting to have for myself.”
Patricia C.
“YoMo, thank you so much for offering this program and being the BIGGEST light through Hair Loss Bonita! Seriously, I'm so grateful to have you in my corner and life!"
Meghan W.
“Before I embarked on this coaching journey with Yomo, I felt so stagnant and controlled by my hair loss and the negativity that I associated with it. Throughout this journey with Yomo, I was able to transform my mindset, grow my confidence, and overall happiness.”
Jamie L.
Why Hair Loss Bonita exists
Hair Loss Bonita was created by Yomarie “YoMo” Castellano, a certified life coach who has lived with hair loss for over a decade.
Like many women, she found that while there was plenty of information about treatments and appearance, there was very little support for the mental strain of living with hair loss day after day.
This work is shaped by lived experience and professional training, with a focus on helping women move through everyday situations with less self-monitoring and less second-guessing. The approach here is practical, respectful, and designed to complement medical care and personal choices, not replace them.
Who this space is for
Hair Loss Bonita is here for women who are navigating hair loss and want support that actually fits into real life.
Many women find this space helpful if they:
feel mentally worn down by how much attention hair loss asks for
want support that is practical, grounded, and human
are tired of being told to “just accept it” or “stay positive”
want a clearer understanding of what they’re experiencing, without being rushed or analyzed
This space is also meant to be a resource. You are welcome here even if you are not looking to book a session right now. Reading, learning, and making sense of your experience counts too.
Hair Loss Bonita may not be the right fit if you are primarily looking for hair growth advice, treatment plans, or quick motivational fixes. There are many places that focus on those areas. This one focuses on helping daily life feel more manageable while you navigate hair loss in your own way.
A place you can come back to
Hair Loss Bonita is a growing resource hub offering one-on-one support, educational writing, and lived insight for women navigating hair loss. This work is meant to sit alongside dermatology care, styling decisions, and personal choices, providing support where many women are currently left to figure things out alone.
You do not need to prove that this is hard enough to deserve support. If hair loss has been quietly shaping how you move through your life, that is reason enough to reach out. You are welcome to explore, read, reflect, or book support when it feels right for you.
